Herm....
had a great day at my stained glass class nearly done with everything!! I will post a picture later *smile* about 3-5 hours from finish product, methinks. and SO many cool ideas for other projects.
Due to people digging around in my journal and instead of talking to me, just going around behind me...I am going to be moving to mostly friends Only posts...some stuff will be public occasionaly when I really want something out there.
Hadnt thought much about people reading my stuff that I didnt know about. Mostly because I dont think I am that interesting. But apparently there are...so...I am going to go private with it. Apparently I am pretty nieve. *shrug* Nor have i ever really thought that what I post is all the revealing. I really dont put much of my real life up here...but people read into things and grab onto stuff and it has caused a problem one too many times.
So if people want to read this that arent on my friends list...you need to let me know.
I need help figuring out how to make a journal friends only without doing every single post that way...if there is a way to do that....I am not real computer savvy. |

Sooooooo......
i got all my glass cut! I think I may need to grind a few peices down as I may not have left enough space for the foil *eep* and One peice is cut...TOO small...I am going to have the instructor look at it, and bring my left over glass to recut if I need to.
This exercise has been fun, and I am even thinking of heading out and getting some flat glass to try out an idear I had last night *giggle* something REALLY small...would probably drive me apes*** to figure out...but would make a nifty pressie for a few of my pagany friends.

had a weird moment late last night, I was fast asleep when I distinctly heard a woman's voice say my name. My full first name. it wasn't as if she was calling me, per se...just...naming me. I woke up and looked around, but wasnt really nervous or scared that someone was in the room...I was just overcome with the need to SEE whoever it was.
It wasnt a dream...I was wide awake, with my name resonating there.
*shrug* no clue.......

The great house debate rages onwards. Michael and I cannot agree on location location location...LOL....we found a few houses we really like, one is 4,000 sq feet! after living in our little 900sqft home, I think I would freak out in that much space. I dont think I would know what to do, and I am not sure I want to vacuum that much space. *thunking head on desk*
I am trying to convince him to go look at this cute house in carrollton, 2,800sq ft, more my size, with a little house outback that I could use for glass, sewing, chainmail, whatever new project has seized my rotten little self. and it has a garden tub. my only requisite. ... that and trees. I need me some trees. |

WE ARE DONE WITH THE PAINTING! WHOOP! now, to put the house back together! OI!
We had a nice day watching fireworks and visiting with family yesterday. *smile* I enjoy just hanging by the pool and playing with sparklers. Eddie provided us with about 30 minutes of entertainment while he went INSANE bouncing and screetching in his Johnny Jumpup. That kid has got some serious bounce in him.
On Friday night, i decided last minute to head out to the Londoner. I really wanted to see Eric before he dashed off again. What a nice suprise...I got to see Sandra, Josh and Aaron C as well! *smile* YEAH! Got to catch up with so many people and this was a good thing.
Course, I make it back home and finished up some more work on the house keeping Michael and I up rather late.
we stayed up late Saturday too, cause Gabe got REAL sick on donuts (did I mention he got to go to his Grandma'a??? yeah...she bought him a whole box and he went insane...and then threw up all night at our house. Grandparents! ugh!) So we stayed up to keep track of him, and i SCRUBBED the floors...our house is officially the cleanest it has been in a LONG time.
off to go to MIL's house, it is Michael's vacation and we have done nothing more than paint, clean, move stuff to storage and rush about. So we are taking today to do...nothing. i think we may hit a movie together. |

Lori and I went up to the glass shop and signed up for our classes!! *BOUNCE*
I will be doing a sunset, inspired by Melia!!! I am so ready to start, I just want to do it NOW! LOL! We are going to be doing copper foil technique, not the lead came, which is good, i hear the copper foil helps teach you strong soldering technique. *smile* I am SOOOOOO ready to start!!!! colour me impatient!!! July 15th is our first class! *BOUNCING WILDLY!*
Someone asked me a question that I was SO happy to say yes to...*Smile* She knows who she is...THANKS AGAIN SWEETIE!!! WE ARE SO HONOURED!! *HUGS*

*smile* I will have photos of my car as soon as it stops raining up here long enough for me to give her a little bath and get her polished up after all the rains. I have learned my 6 disk CD changer, and the sunroof, and all manner of fun things! the leather is LUSCIOUS...why have i never had leather seats before!?!?!? Mmmmmmmmm nothing like new car smell........I havent liked a car like this since my Camero...which I still miss. *le sigh* I want another sports car some day...i really do like driving fast *GRIN*
Things are good, a very very large potential in the works *smile* REALLY hoping it pans out *crossing fingers* it would make things SO good. Should know more in a week or so.
Gabe is great, SO ready for him to go do school *smile* he is a bundle of questions and action and i just cannot keep up! he is exhausting!!! LOL!!!! So for three days a week, he can go to school and learn spanish, and have some more friends his age, and learn some things in a school environment.
My foot is healing fantastically...there was nothing quite so mentally annoying as being laid up like that. It drives me NUTS. I feel helpless and useless and i DO NOT like that. Puts me in a bad frame of mind. But I am making some changes and really working on doing my exercises on my ankle tendons and such. I still have very limited flexibility in that foot because of the tendons and ligiments being all F'ed up...but it is improving and I am working on it. |

we are working on the house, and took a break to order some chinese....
Hubby just got one of the craziest fortune cookie fortunes ever...
It reads:
"Promote literacy. Buy a box of fortune cookies today."
i am serious...that was his fortune. I got, " Your luck has changed. A new opportunity is about to present itself."
so...obviously they have normal ones! Just not for michael! *CACKLE* |
